What People Are Saying About Our Oceanfront Home

This is our third year of staying at this beach house which says a lot. It has everything we need. Was glad for the elevator this year because of a hip injury. We come with 2 sets of parents, 2 kids and 2 grandkids. There is plenty of room for all of us and beach and pool within short walk. Lots of restaurants not far, and a nice playground and splash pad for the kids across from Food Lion. We went to Fort Macon which was very impressive and had a great tour guide. Nearby Swansboro and Beaufort are quaint fishing villages with good restaurants. We especially like the Ice House in Swansboro. This year we went to The Island Grill in Atlantic beach but were not impressed and wouldn’t go back. We usually go to Amos Mossquitos which we always liked but tried something different this year. Nautical museum in Beaufort is very interesting too.

Wonderful family vacation!! Absolutely beautiful home!!! Nice, quiet beach!! Very attentive and accommodating owners!!! We just returned from our week long vacation at this beautiful home, and wished we could have stayed longer..we did make a trip to the Aquarium, but other than that, we spent most of our time on the beach, in the pool or in the hot tub..We would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a wonderful family vacation..and hope to come back again next summer. I also agree with the previous reviews that the Luttner’s were absolutely wonderful to work with and answered ALL my questions in a very prompt, and thorough manner..thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!!

This oceanfront property could not have been more amazing for our family. This was my first experience using HomeAway and Mr. and Mrs. Luttner should train all the other owner’s on how to make renters feel secure and at ease with asking questions, getting answers right away, and actually booking a home. They made everything so easy and relaxing and always responded to us timely.

My brother’s family (wife, 2 kids ages 5 and 8), my family (husband and one child age 9), my mother and grandmother (age 93!) all stayed last week. Immediately upon entering, we all said, oh we will for sure stay here again! We love that there are two master bedrooms with king beds since we split the cost with my brother/sister-in-law. There is a fantastic kid’s room and the elevator for my grandmother allowed her to stay with us the entire week which she has never been able to do before! The sheets on the bed were very nice and obviously NOT from a linen provider. The house was clean and very comfortable. The home had all the amenities including a new hot tub which was a surprise. It was amazing and very relaxing after golfing and wave running days for sore muscles. There are multiple refrigerators, multiple decks, beach chairs, outdoor hose and shower, and on and on. The beach is almost exclusive. We had plenty of room and the fishing was great right in front of the house. The home is in close proximity to lots of great restaurants, the Aquarium, and the Pine Knoll Shores EMS station had a beach wheelchair free of charge! We were able to take my grandma down to the beach using the special wheelchair so she could fish. The house overall was amazing and we will definitely return!

Thanks again, Mr. and Mrs. Luttner for opening up your wonderful home to travelers to make memories that will last a lifetime!

what People Are Saying about Beachfront Townhouse

This beautifully decorated, spacious condo was perfect for our family. With 6 adults and 2 young children, there was more than enough space for everyone to gather in the living room, or have their own space. The split-levels design is perfect: great views, and privacy. The beautiful beach is just a few steps away; never crowded! Just amazing. We also enjoyed the pool that was closest to our building; again, we felt as though it was a pool for just our family! With several pools in the complex, we never felt crowded. The location is also a plus: lots of fun things to that are close by. The owners were great to deal with; we have had a very positive experience! I highly recommend this wonderful condo.

My family spent an amazing week inthis condo. We have four children. The boys are 17 and 14, and the girls are 10 and 4. The condo was large enough for everyone to have their own space, and bathroom. The views from the balconies on the oceanside were awesome. We could hear the ocean from our room when we woke up in the mornings. The kids were also big fans of the pools and bike trails we had access to. There were two pools that were only a few steps away. Other perks include the beach chairs and sand toys. The location being between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach was also perfect. With a short drive either way, we could be at shops and restaurants. We really had a wonderful week at the beach. Thank you Janice and Jack!!

Excellent house, perfect location. This property was exactly what we wanted for our week at the beach. The location of the town house, in my opinion, is in the best possible area on the island. No really close public access, no campers/mobile homes around, limited residents (no high rises or row upon row of homes). It was quiet and family friendly. Across the main road is an amazing area for walking. It is very peaceful and serene back in the neighborhood. The beach access is fantastic. Out the beach room door (or the master bedroom, we used the beach room), down the boardwalk right onto sand. The pool was equally as convenient. The stretch of beach out front was not crowded. Even if every resident were on the beach at once, it wouldn’t be bad at all. The house itself was perfectly clean and nicely stocked. The kitchen is a galley style, so narrow...kind of a one butt kitchen. But the appliances are nice and everything you need is there. We cooked all meals but 2 and had no trouble at all. We had 3 boys ages 10, 13, & 15 with us. It was so nice that they could each have their own room. Plenty of space to spread out to relax. The AC worked well, and the ceiling fan in the dining area was nice. Many TVs in the house and 3 DVD players. We didn’t really watch TV much, but had we gotten a lot of rain, we might have. It was nice to have them, though. The boys could each watch whatever they wanted all at the same time...that was a treat! The wifi was excellent. No problem with connection or speed. Washer and dryer on the entry level were used daily. Janice was a delight to work with for securing the rental, answering my endless questions...everything. We have rented many homes through agencies and VRBO and Janice was one of the best owners we have dealt with. Just a really nice person who cares about her rental property and the comfort of her renters. Without hesitation we recommend this rental property. Older folks or people with bad knees, poor health, etc may want to find something else as there are lots of stairs in this home....but we enjoyed seeing the ocean from our bedroom and from the family room...so we didn’t care one bit about the stairs. Just something for renters to be aware of. Also, I think if you had toddlers or crawling babes you might want to bring baby gates. Lots of opportunity for falls. But the bedrooms are plenty big for a pack n play and the house is otherwise pretty kid friendly. Thanks, Janice & Jack! We had a great week!
